At Islamic Society of Gloucester (ISOG) we believe learning about Islam shouldn’t feel like a chore — it should feel like a journey your child looks forward to every week.

Our curriculum is built on two things that never change: correct tajweed, so every child learns to recite the Qur’an with precision and beauty, and authentic Sunnah, so what they learn is rooted in real knowledge. But how we teach is what sets us apart. Lessons are structured, engaging and genuinely fun — interactive activities, positive encouragement and a warm classroom environment mean children stay motivated, not just present.

Your child will:

  • Learn to recite the Qur’an fluently and correctly, with proper tajweed rules applied from day one
  • Build Islamic knowledge grounded in authentic Sunnah
  • Progress at their own pace, with clear stages so you can see real growth
  • Enjoy coming to class, through interactive teaching methods that keep young minds engaged
