In Islam, the foundation of our faith begins with Tawḥīd — the absolute oneness of Allah.
It means believing that:
- Allah alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and Controller of everything.
- He has no partners, no equals, no likeness, and nothing in creation resembles Him.
- All acts of worship — prayer, supplication, reliance, love, fear, and hope — belong to Allah alone.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Say: He is Allah, One.” (Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:1)
Understanding Tawḥīd strengthens our hearts, brings clarity to our purpose, and guides us toward a life of sincerity and devotion.
